Miles Mander

Miles Mander (14. maj 1888 - 8. februar 1946) bio je engleski pisac, filmski producent, režiser i glumac, najpoznatiji po karakternim ulogama u klasičnim hollywoodskim filmovima.

Biografija

Rodio se u porodici porodici Mander, koju su činili ugledni industrijalci i političari; brat Sir Geoffrey Mander mu je bio član britanskog Parlamenta. Miles je, pak, od ranih dana pokazivao pustolovni duh. Prije bavljenja glumom je okušao sreću kao farmer na Novom Zelandu, a potom je za vrijeme prvog svjetskog rata služio kao avijatičar.

Iza rata se počeo baviti pisanjem drama i glumom u teatru. U Hollywoodu se specijalizirao za uloge negativaca. Umro je iznenada od srčanog udara.
