David Joel Horowitz (New York, 10. 1. 1939. – ), američki konzervativni aktivist, novinar i autor, osnivač Slobodarskog centra David Horowitz (DHFC) i urednik časopisa FrontPage. Odrastao je u njujorškom Queensu, u jevrejskoj porodici Phila i Blanche, članova Komunističke partije i pobornika Staljina (od Velike depresije do saznanja o Velikoj čistki 1956. godine). Pod roditeljskim utjecajem, sam David je od tinejdžerskih dana do 1975. bio pristaša nove ljevice, a potom se okrenuo antikomunizmu i konzervativizmu. Zajedno s dugogodišnjim suradnikom Peterom Collierom napisao je niz političkih knjiga u kojima se brani politička desnica. Također, potpisuju i knjige o utjecajnim političkim porodicama Rockefeller, Kennedy, Ford i Roosevelt. Horowitz je kontroverzna ličnost jer je karijeru gradio napadajući ljevičarske i progresivističke univerzitetske profesore, kao i muslimanske organizacije. Njegova zaklada DHFC drži se jednom od najinspirativnijih organizacija za suvremenu islamofobiju.
