Yeshe Tsogyal (757-817) je bila supruga velikog indijskog tantričkog učitelja Padmasambhave, osnivača škole Nyingma tibetanskog budizma. Tradicija Nyingma je u prosvjetljenju smatra ravnom Padmasambhavi. Meditativna praksa vezana uz nju naglašava aspekt prosvjetljenja, te je slična tantričkim običajima. Često se izjednačava sa Vajravārāhī, Tārā i Sarasvatī.

I Nyingma i Karma Kagyu škole tibetanskog budizma priznaju Yeshe Tsogyal kao ženskog Budu.
