Madeleine Carroll

Edith Madeleine Carroll (26. februar 1906 – 2. oktobar 1987) je bila britanska glumica, koja je uživala popularnost zahvaljujući filmskim nastupima 1930-ih i početkom 1940-ih. Danas je najpoznatija po ulogama u ranim trilerima Alfreda Hitchcocka, uključujući 39 stepenica iz 1935. godine, a zbog kojih je stekla status jedne od prvih "Hitchcockovih plavuša". Na karijeru je značajno uticao Drugi svjetski rat kada se, potaknuta smrću sestre Marguerite u njemačkom bombardiranju, posvetila humanitarnom radu, za koga je kasnije dobila niz priznanja.
