Edward Elgar
Sir Edward William Elgar, 1st Baronet, OM, GCVO (2. jun 1857 – 23. februatr 1934) bio je engleski kompozitor. Najpoznatiji je po djelima za orkestar kao što su Enigma Variations i marševi Pomp and Circumstanecs, koncertima za violinu i violončelo te dvije simfonije. Pisao je i oratorije, uključujući The Dream of Gerontius, komornu muziku i pjesme. Od svih njegovih pjesama je najpoznatija Land of Hope and Glory, koja se smatra svojevrsnom alternativnom himnom Engleske.
