CBGB

CBGB (skraćenica za Country, BlueGrass Blues) je bio noćni klub, smješten u južnom dijelu njujorške općine Manhattan. Osnovao ga je u decembru 1973. Hilly Cristal s namjerom da pruži pozornicu izvođačima countryja, bluegrassa i bluesa. Umjesto toga je, međutim, postao omiljeno mjesto punk i New Wave bendova kao što su Ramones, Misfits, Television, Patti Smith Group, Mink DeVille, The Dead Boys, The Dictators, The Fleshtones, The Voidoids, The Cramps, The B-52's, Blondie, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, The Shirts i Talking Heads. Od ranih 1980-ih je postao poznat po hardcore punk bendovima kao Agnostic Front, Murphy's Law, U.S. Chaos, Cro-Mags, Warzone, Gorilla Biscuits, Sick of It All i Youth of Today. Godine 2006. je zatvoren zbog spora oko plaćanja najamnine.
