Car Montoku
Car Montoku (文徳天皇 Montoku-tennō?, 22. januar 827 – 27. august 858) bio je 55. po redu car Japana,[1] prema tradicionalni popisu,[2] a koji je vladao od 850. do 858.[3]

Lično ime mu je bilo Michiyasu (道康?).[4], a bio je najstariji sin cara Ninmyoa i carice Fujiwara no Junshi. Na prijestolje je došao godine 850. Tokom vladavine je zabilježen pohod protiv Emishi ustanika u provinciji Mutsu te gušenje ustanka na otoku Cušima. Naslijedio ga je sin, kasnije poznat kao car Seiwa.
