Formaldehid transketolaza
Formaldehid transketolaza (EC 2.2.1.3, dihidroksiacetonska sintaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom D-ksiluloza-5-fosfat:formaldehid glikolaldehidtransferaza.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju

- D-ksiluloza 5-fosfat + formaldehid gliceraldehid 3-fosfat + gliceron
Ovaj enzim je tiamin-difosfatni protein. On nije identical sa EC 2.2.1.1, transketolazom. Ovaj enzim takođe konvertuje hidroksipiruvat i formaldehid u gliceron i CO2.
