Zlatni globus za najbolji film na stranom jeziku
Zlatni globus za najbolji film na stranom jeziku jedna je od kategorija te nagrade koja se dodjeljuje svake godine. Prije 1974., ova kategorija je neredovito održavana te se događalo da se i po nekoliko stranih filmova iz različitih godina nađe u konkurenciji.[1] Do 1987., nagrada se odnosila samo na filmove izvan SAD-a, što je značilo da su i britanski filmovi mogli pobijediti, iako su bili na engleskom. Nakon 1987., izričito se gleda samo na filmove na stranom jeziku. Filmovi u ovoj kategoriji ne moraju biti distribuirani u SAD-u kako bi bili pogodni za nominaciju. Moraju trajati najmanje 70 minuta a 51 % dijaloga mora biti na stranom, ne-engleskom jeziku..[2]
