Smokey and the Bandit II
Smokey and the Bandit II (sh. Smokey i Bandit II) je američka akcijska filmska komedija snimljena 1980. godine u režiji Hala Needhama. Predstavlja nastavak popularnog filma Smokey and the Bandit iz 1977. godine. Protagonist, koga tumači Burt Reynolds, je profesionalni vozač koji zajedno sa kolegom (koga tumači Jerry Reed) dobije zadatak da prenese slona na republikansku konvenciju u Dallasu. Smokey and the Bandit II je okupio skoro cijelu glumačku ekipu prethodnog filma, te se snimao paralelno sa tematski srodnim filmom The Cannonball Run, koji je također režirao Needham i u kome je sudjelovao dio ekipe. Smokey and the Bandit II je kod kritičara imao izuzetno loše reakcije, a sa njima se složio Reynolds, koji ga je smatrao "nepotrebnim nastavkom". Gledanost je, međutim, bila dobra, pa je godine 1983. snimljen nastavak pod naslovom Smokey and the Bandit Pt III u kojem osim Jackieja Gleasona nije bilo niti jednog važnijeg člana originalne postave.
