Pozdrav, Budelberger!

Budelberger 23:15, 11 May 2008 (CEST).

Birth/death categories uredi

First, I have to thank you for helping us with birth/death categories at sh.wiki. Second, I had to erase/change some categories, because it appears that they - despite interwiki links - don't exist in any other wikipedia other than sh.wiki ("Umrli 2282. pne." and "Umrli 2279. pne."). I think it is more appropriate that the corresponding articles about ancient personalities are put into broader categories due to lack of precise dating - centuries, rather than single years. --OC Ripper 09:40, 14 rujan-септембар 2010 (CEST)

Can you rename Šablon:BirthyrBC ‎and Šablon:DeathyrBC ‎in a sh-N way, SmrtGodinapne., or not ? Thanks. --Budelberger 19:13, 16 rujan-септембар 2010 (CEST) ( ).
I did, but I left the old template names through redirect, for convenience. --OC Ripper 23:04, 16 rujan-септембар 2010 (CEST)
Thanks. What do you prefer ? :
Umrli 80-ih pne.: ← 89-88-87-86-85-84-83-82-81-80 →
<< >>
or
<< Umrli 80-ih pne. >>: ← 89-88-87-86-85-84-83-82-81-80 →

Second variant, but I would like to see what other users think. --OC Ripper 10:48, 18 rujan-септембар 2010 (CEST)
(Ja też !) We are the other users... Ličnosti koje su rođene/umrle cca. 87. pne. : I think that cca. is wrong ; because we have 80-ih or 1. vijek pne. for years unknown. --Budelberger 11:01, 18 rujan-септембар 2010 (CEST) ( ).
« . » stands for an ordinal number ; we have year « 1 » and « Kategorija:1 », but year « 1. pne. » and « Kategorija:1. pne. ». Why not year « 1 pne. » and « Kategorija:1 pne. » ? --Budelberger 04:55, 19 rujan-септембар 2010 (CEST) ( ).
I think "cca." is used because ancient sources are usually not very reliable when it comes to precise years, especially because January wasn't used as the start of year, and in many cases ancient "year X" is actually "late year X - nine months of years y" or something. The only exception is rather rare instances when persons' exact birth and death dates are known. This is why "cca." is used. It could be changed, if you think it is more appropriate.
As for "1. pne." instead of "1 pne." I agree that it complicates year display, especially considering that normal (AD) years on sh.wiki don't use ordinal (dot). This problem could be temporarily solved through redirects, IMHO, and in the long run with special templates that separate rules for BC and AD years. --OC Ripper 09:21, 19 rujan-септембар 2010 (CEST)

Xqbot is a stupid bot ; it calls this vandalism "kozmetičke promjene"... --Budelberger 03:46, 22 rujan-септембар 2010 (CEST) ( ).

Šabloni vs. Templatei uredi

"Šabloni" iz correct. "Template" was used in sh.wiki as temporary solution before interface translation. --OC Ripper 10:01, 29 rujan-септембар 2010 (CEST)

I'll see whether someone can make a bot to change all "Category:*templatei*" into "Kategorija:*šabloni*". --OC Ripper 09:18, 30 rujan-септембар 2010 (CEST)

Ortho(typo)graphy uredi

"Kategorija:Oblasti antičke Makedonije" should be correct. --OC Ripper 12:37, 28 decembar-просинац 2010 (CET)

I would say "patrijarsi Carigrada", since it is already opened. --OC Ripper 23:00, 28 decembar-просинац 2010 (CET)

I have reverted your interwiki changes in this article because serbian and croatian history is having difference between Kievan Rus' and Moscow Rus periods, not like Russian wikipedia which is making difference between earlier period (until 1721) and emperor period (1721-1917). On south slavic wiki we must use south slavic version of history ?!--Rjecina2 16:35, 2 siječanj-јануар 2011 (CET)

Your revert is stupid. --Budelberger 19:11, 2 siječanj-јануар 2011 (CET) ( ).
I appreciate your revert ; all Wikipedias need such wonderful reverts ; bots as VolkovBot don't know how to work well, e. g. with sah and ka Wikipedias. Thank you, one billion thanks, from an illiterate ignorant : me. --Budelberger 20:12, 2 siječanj-јануар 2011 (CET) ( ). (I hope 2011 will see many, many such wonderful edits and reverts.)

Friendly suggestion/warning uredi

Could you please abstain from using such language during legitimate disputes? I appreciate your contribution to this Wikipedia and I would hate to see it end due to blocks and bans. --OC Ripper 19:25, 2 siječanj-јануар 2011 (CET)

I forgot to add templates in escape list. I will fix it soon. --BokicaK 16:17, 6 siječanj-јануар 2011 (CET)
