Tom Tyler (9. august 1903 – 3. maj 1954) bio je američki filmski glumac, koji je postao poznat po nastupima u niskobudžetnim vestern-filmovima na kraju nijeme ere i 1930-ih godina, a 1940-ih slavu stekao kao Kapetan Marvel u popularnom filmskom serijalu Adventures of Captain Marvel. Tu je ulogu dobio u relativno poodmakloj dobi, ali je u njoj svejedno pokazivao izuzetne atletske vještine. Ubrzo nakon toga mu je reumatoidni artritis, zbog koga je morao prekinuti karijeru i posljednje godine života provesti u siromaštvu.
