===Kraljevi Pikta tradicionalno navođeni kao kraljevi Škota===
[[Kenneth I od Škotske|Cináed mac Ailpín]] je porazio suparničke kraljeve u periodu 845–848. Tradicionalno se smatra prvim "kraljem Škota" ili "Pikta i Škota", jer je navodno pokorio Pikte kao Gel; većina modernih historičara pak smatra da je zapravo bio 'kralj Pikta', jer se izrazi 'kralj Albe' i 'kralj Škota' nisu koristili još nekoliko generacija.
