Njegovo najpoznatije djelo je ''[[Historia Regum Britanniae]]'' ("Historija kraljeva Britanije"), kronika koja je u svoje vrijeme uživala veliku popularnost te s [[latinski jezik|latinskog]] bila prevođena na brojne jezike srednjovekovne Evrope.
