Jehovini svedoci odbacuju, između ostalih, dogmu o [[Trojstvo|Trojstvu]], jer smatraju da se o njoj ne govori u Svetom Pismu. Oni osporavaju i odbacuju simbole kao što je križ, te praznike i običaje, jer ih smatraju nehrišćanskim, tj. smatraju da imaju mnogobožačko i pagansko poreklo.
