Morski slonovi

Morski slonovi (lat. Mirounga) su rod životinja iz porodice pravih foka. Ovde spadaju Severni morski slon i Južni morski slon. Smatra se da potiču iz perioda Pliocena iz okoline Novog Zelanda,[1] a razvijali su se u oblasti Tihog okeana.[2][3]
