John Howard (američki glumac)
John Howard (14. april 1913 – 19. februar 1995) je bio američki glumac, koji je nastupao u klasičnim hollywoodskim filmovima pri čemu se ističe uloga Bulldoga Drummonda u Paramountovoj seriji 1930-ih. Karijeru mu je nakratko prekinuo Drugi svjetski rat tokom koga je služio u ratnoj mornarici. U augustu 1944. je minolovac YMS - 24 na kome je bio prvi oficir u Mediteranu naletio na minu pri čemu je poginuo kapetan i veliki broj članova posade. Howard je preuzeo komandu i spasio brod od potapanja, a za što je odlikovan. Poslije rata je uglavnom nastupao na televiziji, a osim glume se bavio i podučavanjem djece u Waldorfskoj školi.
