Ovo je članak o britanskom horor filmu. Za američki film noir, v. Fear in the Night (1947 film). Fear in the Night (sh. Strah u noći) je britanski horor film snimljen 1972. godine u režiji Jimmyja Sangstera. Protagonistica, čiji lik tumači Judy Geeson je mlada žena čiji je suprug dobio posao učitelja u izoliranom internatu koji vodi ostarjeli direktor (čiji lik tumači Peter Cushing) sa mladom suprugom (čiji lik tumači Joan Collins). Radnja prikazuje kako protagonistica postane metom nepoznatog napadača, ali kako nitko ne vjeruje da je to istina, odnosno smatra da je žrtva histerije. Fear in the Night je nastao u produkciji studija Hammer Films i bio originalno prikzivan u tzv. dvostrukoj predstavi sa tematski srodnim filmom Straight On till Morning.
