Ebionitsko evanđelje

Evanđelje po Ebionitima je konvencionalni naziv za Epifanijev opis evanđelja koje koriste ebioniti. Čitav poznati tekst ovog jevanđelja se sastoji od sedam kratkih fragmenata, koje Epifanije citira u 30. poglavlju svoje knjige o heresiologi. Jedan od sačuvanih odlomaka iz jevanđelja Ebionita koje navodi Epifanije glasi:

Kada je Isus izašao iz vode, čuo je glas Božiji «ti si moj ljubljeni sin, danas te rodih».[1]

Evanđelje po Ebionitima se često poistovećuje sa Evanđeljem po Hebrejima. Smatra se da je priređeno početkom II stoljeća. Neki proučavaoci smatraju da je to heterodoksna prerada aramejskog Evanđelja po Hebrejima, to jest judaižirane verzije Matejeva Evanđelja.[2]

Evanđelje po Ebionitima, kako ga prenosi Epifanije Salaminski, prikazuje Jovana i Isusa kao vegetarijance.[3][4][5]
