Akim Tamiroff

Akim Mikhailovich Tamiroff (armenski: Ակիմ Թամիրով, ruski: Аким Михайлович Тамиров; birth name` Hovakim, armenski: Հովակիմ; 29. oktobar 1899 – 17. septembar 1972) bio je američki glumac armenskog porijekla, najpoznatiji po karakternim ulogama u hollywoodskim filmovima.

Rođen je u Gruziji pod ruskom carskom vlašću, a glumu je studirao u Moskvi gdje je započeo karijeru. U SAD je stigao 1923. godine, te ja tamo nastavio karijeru, gdje će mu specijalnost postati likovi iz Istočne Evrope. Godine 1943. je za nastup u Za kim zvona zvone osvojio prvi Zlatni globus za najboljeg sporednog glumca. Bio je čest suradnik Orsona Wellesa.
