David Gemmell
David Andrew Gemmell (1.8., 1948–28.7. 2006) je bio popularni britanski pisac herojske fantastike. Nakon karijere novinara i novinskog urednika, Gemmell je godine 1984. objavio svoje prvo književno djelo, nakon čega je slijedilo preko trideset romana. Najpoznatiji je po svom prvijencui Legend, a djela su mu često puna nasilja i bave se temama časti, odanosti i iskupljenja.
