Bernicija (staroengleski: Bernice, Beornice; latinski: Bernicia) bilo je anglosaksonsko kraljevstvo osnovano u 6. vijeku od strane anglijskih doseljenika u današnju jugoistočnu Škotsku i Sjeveroistočnu Englesku.

Teritorija anglijske Bernicije je otprilike odgovarala današnjim engleskim grofovijama Northumberland i Durham, kao i nekadašnjim škotskim grofovijama Berwickshire i East Lothian, od rijeke Forth do rijeke Tees. Početkom 7. vijeka se spojila sa susjednim kraljevstvom Deira te je tako stvoreno kraljevstvo Nortambrija čija se teritorija dodatno proširila.
